SKODA CAR FACTORY TOUR

Situated in the town of Mlada Boleslav approximately 55km from Prague is the world famous Skoda car factory, the history of early beginnings date back to the 1890`s and during the World War II occupation of Czechoslovakia the factory was used by Goring to serve the German war effort.
The present day Skoda company is owned 100% by the Volkswagen Group, this helped improve the quality of the cars produced and hence an increase in sales, now Skoda factory's can be found in Bosnia and Herzegovina, India and even China!

Summer season (1st April to 31st October)
Departure: 08:45am Thursday (the exact pick up time from your accommodation we will tell you on booking). It lasts 5.5 hours, including transportation.

Winter season (1st November to 31st March, only on 1st and 27th November it is closed).
Departure: 11:30am Thursday (the exact pick up time from your accommodation we will tell you on booking) It lasts 5.5 hours, including transportation.

The Full Itinerary of The Trip:

The tour starts with pickup at your Prague accommodation (we will need the full address please), and you will be driven by luxury coach to the town of Mlada Boleslav, which is situated approximately 55km from Prague.
On the tour you will first visit the Skoda museum in the historical section of the factory, here you will also see a film about the history and development of the car production, there are also cars on show in this area.

Next you will taken a short drive to the actual factory, here you will see first hand the production of cars during an approximately 90 minutes excursion, all entrance fees to the museum and factory are included in the tour price.
After the end of the tour you will taken by coach back to Prague and you will be left off in the city centre.


Note : During the Skoda car factory tour children under the age of 12 are not allowed to enter the factory because of safety reasons.
