The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour is an all-day excursion to the beautiful, world-renown town of Karlovy Vary (also known by its German name of Carlsbad).
Nestled amid the picturesque mountains of West Bohemia, Karlovy Vary was founded in 1358 by King Charles IV from which time became famous throughout the world for its 12 medicinal mineral springs.
Down the years celebrities such as Russian tsar Peter the Great and the famous poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe praised the curative effects of the town's mineral springs while in more recent, modern times Karlovy Vary has also become known for the annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival attended by many internationally famous directors and film stars.

Start time and length of programme - The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour is available daily at 09.30am, it lasts 9.5 hours, including transfers.
Price per person - Adults 1 490 CZK / £43 / €57, children up to 6 years old: 1 250 CZK / £36 / €48, students up to 26 years old: 1 400 CZK / £40 / €54
Transfers and guide included - Yes, you will be picked up at your accommodation and dropped back in the centre of Prague.

The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour Itinerary:

The tour will start with a pickup from your Prague accommodation and driven to Karlovy Vary, part of the sightseeing tour will walk you along the enchanting historical colonnades of the beautiful, old centre, you will have the opportunity to taste the town's famous mineral springs for yourself, including the largest and best known, Vridlo (Giant Spring), which spurts its healing waters to a height of almost 17 metres.
You will have a break for lunch (included) and then you will continue with the tour.

The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour also provides the chance to admire locally manufactured Bohemian crystal, Moser, and Thun porcelain while a taste of the traditional, local liqueur Becherovka made of herbs and sweet local wafers is recommended to complete the Karlovy Vary experience.
At the end of the tour the coach will transport you back to the centre of Prague.
